As well as helping clients in traditional family circumstances, we are experienced in dealing with child related issues involving extended families and cohabiting couples. We provide a comprehensive service to help mothers, fathers, grandparents and civil partners achieve the best solution for their respective children, grandchildren and stepchildren.

We act for parents, grandparents and other family members with regard to residence, contact, parental responsibility and emergency injunctions. We also advise on situations such as the child moving to a different area and new school, moving abroad or changing surname. Prohibited steps orders can be used to prevent a parent moving to another part of the country or abroad.

We also act for civil partners seeking parental responsibility of their partner’s child.
