New Homes

Moore Blatch has a dedicated and experienced New Homes Team who specialise in acting for buyers of New Homes. We are recognised both locally and nationally for expertise in this area.

The New Build Team offers the following benefits:

  • Named Conveyancer with direct access
  • Commitment to meeting your target exchange date
  • Fast and efficient service
  • Correspondence by email if preferred
  • Direct communication with developers, sales negotiators and solicitors
  • No need to visit our offices (unless you would prefer to do so)

There are benefits in purchasing a newly built property, some of these being:

  • There are ways to break chains - often developers may offer a part exchange on your existing property
  • Various incentives can be provided, such as upgrades on the choice of tiling, carpets etc which ensures your new home is catered to your requirements
  • New homes are more environmentally friendly and achieve a higher grade efficiency rating
  • Developers will often provide a 10 year warranty scheme for the construction of the property such as NHBC
  • Most developers will offer an aftercare service and ‘handover’ process whereby you will be shown the property once it is officially completed to ensure you are happy with your purchase

You should be aware that strict exchange deadlines are normally given. However, we will work with you to ensure you meet the deadline and move into the property when agreed between you and the developer.

Although we are on occasions recommended by the Developer to the Buyer, we always act independently for the buyer whilst working as efficiently as possible to ensure deadlines for exchange are met.

Give the New Homes Team a call on 023 8071 8043 to discuss your purchase or if you are thinking of buying a new home.
